Rest In Peace Josh

Hello, my name is Amber Bennett, and Josh Quinn is my cousin. Many of you have heard that we tragically lost Josh to an accident on Chichester Ave on Thursday, Feb 3. Our family has been overwhelmed by the loving words many of you have shared on how you knew Josh, and we, his family, love hearing all the memories and stories you have shared. Many people have asked how they can help and questioned if we would create a GoFundMe page on his behalf, so here it is. This is the only page his family will make; however, Lupi's Pizza and Don's Deli have created a physical collection station at their locations, which Josh's mom also approved.

Josh was a fun, goofy-humored man who was about to turn 31 in April. He loved cleaning up Chi by collecting scrap metal and turning it in for a profit. He was a hard worker when asked to complete a job as simple as mowing a lawn, shoveling snow, working at his cousin's restoration business or helping Dr Ozer. It is obvious now, to all of us, that he had people throughout Chichester and even Marcus Hook that knew and cared for Josh. What you may not know about Josh is he had no insurance, and his mother, whom he lived with, has been out of work since June 2021. My Aunt Reen and Josh's brother CJ did not take the decision lightly when allowing me to create this page on their behalf. They only want to hear the kind words from all of you and get justice for Josh. That being said, they could still benefit from your help if you are able. Reen needs to find a way to cover the expenses of Josh's funeral so he can be at peace, all while being out of work herself and living off of her savings.

Something as simple as $5.00 will go a long way in helping lay Josh to rest. If this is something you can do, know that his entire family greatly appreciates it.

And to Josh, know that your family loves you. You did not deserve to be called home this way. We know that you are with Mom-mom & Pop and now watching over all of us from up above. You will live on in the hearts of those who loved you. And until we see you again, we send you our love!
