Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge
Donation protected
We are the Group Procurement Team of the Nomad Foods Group and have decided to take on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge on Friday 16th September 2022 to help raise funds and awareness around deafness.
Wandsworth Hearing Support Services (WHSS) help all deaf infants, children and young people in Wandsworth from birth to 25 years of age by providing them and their families with education, support, and oversight, to achieve the best possible outcomes on all aspects of deafness
WHSS funding is part of The Linden Lodge Charitable Trust arm of the Linden Lodge School https://www.lindenlodgecharitabletrust.org/. Their charity number is 1168169.
About the Challenge
The Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge consists in taking on 3 of the best-known peaks in Yorkshire; Pen-y-Ghent (694m), Whernside (736m) and Ingleborough (723m). The aim of the challenge is to walk this 42 Km route within 12 hours while raising money and awareness around a charitable cause.
Donations
WHSS is currently in need of £2,600 to finance their technology needs, such as ipads for the teachers of the Deaf.
Any donations, no matter how big or small, would be much appreciated. We thank you in advance for your contributions!
