Husband passed away suddenly from his cancer battl

Hey… we’re Eric & Kimberly davis … our journey started 7 years ago …early April 2016 my eric started having some serious stomach problems… he could not keep food down and his stomach was hurting very bad …on april 4th ( my birthday) we had a appointment with our doctor to find out what was going on … we were sent stat for eric to have a cat scan and within 30 minutes we were called to come back to the office…they had found a tumor ..we were sent for a colonoscopy and on April 7th he was admitted to the hospital for major bowel surgery… they took 2 1/2 feet of large intestine… and 30 days later he started chemo … 2019 he ended up with a another colectomy and they took 4 feet of his small intestine… my eric has been on and off chemo since 2016 …. my eric has a large tumor that is in a spot that’s impossible to get out … He did 15 radiation treatments….In the last couple of months we have been told to go home and die … we’ve gone to see specialist out west… my eric has been hurting worse since last year and we couldn’t get anyone to listen or do anything except chemo … the last couple of months my eric has gotten worse… the abdominal pain has been unbearable… two weeks ago I had to rush eric in to get checked out … he’d been throwing up for days and could barely move …they ran all kinds of test cat scans , blood work etc …on may 17th he was admitted to the hospital and the next morning we were met with our surgeon … we were told we had 2 choices …. Go home to die or go into a exploratory surgery… we were told that quality of life was not guaranteed… they weren’t even sure he was gonna make it out of the surgery….my eric came out of the surgery with less than a foot of large intestine … he now has a ileostomy bag … he now has to have nutrition by iv … he’s able to eat but it will not provide enough nutrients for him … the surgical team has had to figure out how to make all of this work … I’m my husband’s caregiver… I take care of all his appointments via email or phone calls , insurance basically I do everything medical for him …. Now my eric has a lot of healing to do … he will have to have nutrition iv the rest of his life and a bag that I will be responsible for … we will have to have home health care always… our lives are forever changed… we know that none of this is a surprise to our God … we’ve had a lot of answered pray on our journey… if you feel led to help us please do so …
