On the 14th of July 2022, Libby and I will be will be donating 7 inches of our hair to the Little Princess Trust who provide real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment and other conditions. Since 2006 they have provided over 12,000 wigs and we want to help to provide more. My mum was diagnosed with stage 4 synovial sarcoma which has spread to other parts of her body. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy and wanted to donate her hair however isn’t able to so we have decided to donate ours instead. All money raised will go towards Macmillan cancer support who support people like my mum and families also going through this difficult time. Mum is in good spirits and is very grateful for any contributions that are made towards helping people like her. Any donations are greatly appreciated.
