Please help! 48 hrs until we leave

Team Humanity - I think that there are times in life when one knows that they are being called on to DO something.  This is how I feel about the refugee crisis in Europe - if you are Friends with me on Facebook, you already know this too well (lots of posts, I know).  For me, this is somehow very personal.  Maybe it's because I am a mom and pray that if I ever found myself in a destitute situation that another mom would reach out to my family and help us regardless of how different our backgrounds are... or maybe it's because I've been so blessed that I just know that it's time to give back. The pleas now coming from the volunteers in Lesvos, Greece are simply desperate.  Help is urgently needed.  

On November 11th, my friend, Anna Johnson, and I will be travelling to Lesvos to help out for a week.  We are in contact with volunteers onsite and will be working with them.  The purpose of our fundraising effort is to bring supplies and a cash donation to help with the local effort to clothe, feed, and provide medical care for the refugees as they arrive (soaking wet, hungry and many times sick or injured) and wait for their registration papers on Lesvos.  NO funds raised will be for ANY of our expenses, we are paying our own way.   I hope that you will find it in your heart to help the refugees.  Thank you so much and please Share!
