A Stolen Opportunity

In an effort to help our community, the members of Eastside Assembly of Believers recently purchased a food truck. Our purpose was to create jobs and training opportunities for single parents, those getting out of prison, youth, and others . On Wednesday night, June 12th, someone hopped over our secure, gated fence, hot wired the vehicle, rammed through the fence, and stole opportunities, hopes and dreams from our community. The loss of the food truck is not only a loss to this community, but opportunities such as these where the community can be infected with change is rare. All hope is not lost! Eastside is an Assembly of Believers and we are committed to restoring what has been stolen and moving forward with the plans, vision, and  the call to offer hope and opportunities to our community. Your help in this endeavor is greatly appreciated and will impact many lives on the Eastside and surrounding communities.
