VIVPS Medical Fund
Donation protected
Hi guys, if you're here, it means that you are fabulous and have decided to help VIVPS/Helping Hands fatten up their medical fund a bit. These kids are fantastic and deserve all the care that they need!
Here's Terry (the fantastic director of VIVPS), about what the medical fund is for. This is from the September newsletter.
"Next week we will take Nha (Room 4) to be fitted with orthopedic boots and also one of our new girls, Tuyen Anh, in Room 7 who has boots but they are worn and need to be replaced. Hopefully this will result in Nha taking her first steps, although now she tries it is impossible without support for her twisted ankles. We have only $250 in our medical fund and this will not cover the costs of this trip, consultation, and making of the boots so we will need to dip into our general funds, If anybody would like to make a donation to the medical fund so that we have ongoing funds available for times like this then please let us know."
Though I've not met Tuyen Anh, Nha is a wonderful girl who is around my age, and wheelchair bound. She is smart and verbal and unbearably sweet, and definitely deserves the chance to learn to walk! Hopefully these funds will make it possible for these two girls to take their first steps, and help along with any future corrective surgeries/medical needs that the kids may have.
Thanks in advance and much love,
Grace
