Dafonte Miller

In late 2016, 19-year-old Dafonte Miller was attacked by an off-duty Toronto police officer and his brother in Whitby, Ontario. As a result of this act of violence, Dafonte lost his left eye and suffered numerous other injuries. The men who attacked Dafonte are currently on trial in the Ontario criminal court. 

Dafonte’s family is urging people who have heard his story to support his recovery and ongoing fight for justice. This is the first and only fundraiser authorized by his family. This money will assist us to pay for his medical treatments not covered by OHIP nor
