Let's Help Kristine!

Donation protected
Saturday, July 25, 2015, our dear friend Kristine went to an urgent care clinic to see if she could get something to help with the fatigue she had been experiencing for a few weeks. The doctor there sent her to an ER immediately where she was given an emergency transfusion and admitted to the hospital with an expected stay of 3-4 weeks.  Three days later, on July 28, Kristine was officially diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and she was started on a chemotherapy treatment the same day.

Aside from the all of the obvious medical & health challenges and questions that Kristine now has to start trying to live with or figure out, she also faces many new financial challenges. Realistically, she may not be able to work anytime in the foreseeable future and her dependable income may be limited to just what she has in her savings plus what she's able to collect from disability and other social services.

So we're starting this GoFundMe page to help make some of those financial concerns go away and also show her how much love & support she has behind her. Our goal is to raise enough money so that she won't have to worry about rent or basic expenses this first year!

We want Kristine's energy going towards getting healthy as much as possible. Please help us help her focus on what's really important now - every donation is appreciated and makes a difference.
