Highbridge 30 house cats dumped per
Donation protected
Highbride Charlies, rescuers and now Charlies care givers Denise and Tiina have taken on a massive cat rescue:
A neighborhood cat hoarder with 30+ possibly 50 cats has passed away. The conditions of this apartment were horrendous, dead cats behind the radiators, maggots in the litter and all of the cats are emaciated with possible health issues. After her death a "friend" of the deceased woman dumped her house cats in Highbridge park, which is notorious for its loose aggressive dogs. These cats are friendly house cats that will not survive outside, we have to act fast. Re-rescuing and feeding this poor babies is a massive under taking. Some are unaltered young adults as well as a few kittens. I am TNR certified through the mayors alliance and can get neutering and vaccinations through this program for free, unfortunately this program does not cover vet bills, which are mounting fast. (so far one of the cats needed to have a hernia removed) We are desperate to get foster or forever homes for these terrified cats that have already endured a horrible life. We have caught a few already, but have run out of space to house them during the vetting process. We are looking for foster homes, forever homes, food donations as well as monetary donations. Any help is greatly appreciated.
