Linda Dizon (Gordy) Last Wishes
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Raquel Munoz and I am starting this fundraiser on behalf of my grandma Maggie. On April 9, 2023, on Easter Sunday, my grandma lost her soulmate, Gordy. After a long five weeks in the hospital, she ended up passing with heart failure. Easter Sunday was not only a holiday but Gordy's last birthday leaving at the age of 69. Gordy had a heart of gold and would help anyone in need no questions asked. Even with her kind heart, and small height, she was tough as nails, she did roller derby and construction work. She also worked with the city of San Antonio developing the Graffiti Wipe Out Program, working with the Community Service Program, and developing the bike patrol for the Green Belt Trails. After retiring from the city she then went on to work with Bexar County for five years, where she was in charge of all moveable fixed assets as well as a tech for Bexar County Elections Department. After retiring from the County she moved to Bandera, Tx in her forever home overlooking the river. Gordy was all around a one-of-a-kind person that will be greatly missed. The funds will go to Maggie to help assist with all the unfinished bills left behind and to properly spread Gordy's ashes in her last wishes spots amongst the U.S.
