Please help if you can

Hi. My name is Brandy.

I am in desperate need for help with rent and other expenses.

In June 2023, I found myself in a position the required me to leave my marriage. I moved into my own studio apartment and was optimistic that I could make it on my own.

In August 2023, I found myself hospitalized in Detroit with sepsis from an infected lymph node. I was out of work for nearly a month. During this same time my new apartment toilet flooded, resulting in having to stay in hotels for nearly 3 weeks.

These situations on top of declining mental health, led me to fall behind on my rent. I am now in a position where I am in extreme danger of eviction.

I have exhausted all resources presented to me (family, friends, charity).

If you know me, you know how much I hate asking for help. But my little family is going to be homeless unless I get some help.

I know times are tough for everyone, but even a few dollars or sharing this could make all the difference.

I am humbly asking for help.
