Memorial for Jay Bailey

We consider ourselves a strong family.

We do not like asking for help.

We are overwhelmed.

We are heartbroken.

We are at a loss.

We are trying to make sense of everything.

If you knew Jay Bailey, you knew that no matter what he was going through, he would have tried to make you laugh, smile, or be sad with you if that was what you needed.

We have cried, laughed, cried more, fell apart, wept, and walked around like our chests were wide open. We do not have the answers and are working to honor him as we endure this pain. We are still picking up the pieces...

We promise to share more, in time, as we learn more. Please be patient with us, this pain is unreal. Jay left a Jay-shaped hole in us all; he was too kind of a soul for this world.

We are not sure when, where, or how, but we will honor Jay. As he would say, "I love you, homie."
