Sooke house fire
Donation protected
As most of the sooke community knows my family suffered from a house fire yesterday after moving in on the 5th of March, they had just moved after their last home flooded. Unfortunately a fire ruined everything and has now left them homeless. They have lost everything.
As of now we’re hoping for donations to help pay for air b&bs, essential necessities, clothing and food for animals/ family while we don’t have a place to stay.
We will be hoping for more donations in the future but unfortunately furniture and home objects aren’t help to us in the meantime due to having no place to stay.
I just want to thank everyone now who has reached out and offered help. We really need it. This has been such a traumatizing and awful time for my family. I just want them to have a place to stay and the necessities they need to get by while they have no home. The home is completely ruined as well as all belongings so as of now we’re trying to stick together as a family, we’re all grateful we’re alive and trying to get any help we can so that we can get by the next couple weeks smoothly.
