Ethan Kaslow's road to SAG

My name is Ethan Kaslow and I am a 20 year old Actor. I moved to California straight out of High School with a dream to pursue a career in Acting! Ever since I did my first musical, The Little Mermaid, in 1st grade all I have ever wanted to do is entertain other people. Wednesday, February 3rd 2016 I walked down my apartment stairs and had a letter in the mail from The Screen Actors Guild. I opened the letter to some incredible news. The letter read, "Congratulations! Your recent employment as a Principal performer in So This Is Why We're Single on October 8th, 2015 qualifies you for membership on SAG-AFTRA, the most distinguished performers' union in the world." An instant smile and scream of joy came bursting out! I continued reading the letter to find out that in order for me to join, I would need to pay a $3,000 initiation fee.  I immediately asked my dear friend and manager Sarah B. Downey what I should do. Sarah suggested starting a Gofundme. 

I am raising this money because I need to join SAG in order to continue my artistic journey of being an Actor. Acting has kept me alive throughout my entire life thus far! I want to use my talent in order to show the world incredible art as well as make people smile from ear to ear.  Joining SAG would be a huge honor at such a young age. 

I am so thankful for the opportunities I have had in my life thus far! I am focussed and determined on my craft. I will be forever grateful to the people who continue to show their love and support for me every step of the way.  I ask YOU the people of the world to please help ME an extremely appreciative human being on reaching my goal!
