Rio’s medical bills

We’ve had quite the shock this week. Rioja didn’t come home for a few days, when he came home he was visibly in pain with clear damage to his face. The relief when he saw us was instant.

We expected maybe a dog attack, or he had fallen out of a tree being silly, but we never expected what the vet found.

Some awful people have decided to shoot him in the face and back shattering his jaw and breaking many other bones in the process. He’s so very lucky to still be alive.

Our insurance unfortunately will only cover 30% of the cost due to our limit of coverage to fix his poor little bones and face as he needs a specialist. We don’t want to have to pick what to fix and what to leave and the thought of leaving bullets in his little body makes us feel sick.

Any little amount would really help us collect the money together to pay for his surgery.

Rio’s vets are companion care in Tunbridge Wells
