Support Mohammed's Family in Gaza

I’m a grad student in NYC organizing this fundraiser for my friend Mohammed and his family in Gaza. I helped organize a previous fundraiser and transferred the money raised to Mohammed to help his wife get medical treatment for cancer. Now he’s raising money to support his three young children and rebuild their lives and their home, which was destroyed. Funds will go to food, medicine, and affording continued medical treatment for his wife. Here’s Mohammed’s message:

“My dear friends in humanity, I call out to you with a heart full of pain and sorrow. I am a father who has lost his entire family, left alone with only my three children and my wife, who is bravely fighting a relentless battle against cervical cancer. She is now in the final stages of physical therapy, struggling to regain her ability to walk and find balance once more.

Amidst this suffering, I find myself helpless in the face of a cruel reality—my home is destroyed, and my life has fallen apart. All I ask from you, kind-hearted people, is a helping hand... Just $5 from each of you could mean everything to me. It could give me a fresh start, a chance to rebuild my shattered home and provide my children with a safe place to call home.

I place before your eyes the heartbreaking images of my completely destroyed home and my children, who wait with desperate hope for your generosity. Their innocent hearts are filled with the belief that kindness still exists in the world, that you will not turn away from them in their time of need.
