Help Save Sandy !

Hello Family and Friends -
Unfortunately, on Christmas night, this sweet girl was abandoned and left tied to a fence. My dad arrived to work that night and found her attached to the fence by an extension cord that was wrapped so tightly around her neck that she popped blood vessels in both of her eyes. We took her to the vet and she needs a lot more care than we can handle. She has an injured back leg that most likely needs surgery or amputation. She also has an ear infection in both ears and needs to be spayed and vaccinated. We have reached out to various rescue organizations, and they are all at capacity. If we brought her to a shelter or animal control, we were told she would likely be euthanized due to her current condition. I am here to raise money for her medical expenses; as you can see, she has many of them. She is going to need bloodwork, X-Rays, surgery, vaccines/shots, spaying, skin care, and any necessary medicines. We did not expect to take on such a challenge at this time, but my dad was in the right place at the right time to give her another chance at life and she really needs our help. Sandy has the most gentle demeanor and loves to be loved and give love. She is truly the sweetest most gentle dog I have ever met. It is heartbreaking that someone could do this to any living creature. Please help us provide Sandy the care that she needs as we are housing her. Any amount would be greatly appreciated.
