Gun Buy Back

Most of you know me as the lady with the blonde hair that was screaming on Highland. Let me tell you why I was screaming on Highland I was screaming on Highland because my heart is broken the gun violence in our community is at all time high We cannot fix our community overnight but what we can do is tackle one situation at a time and in my opinion is the most serious situation is to try to get these guns off the street a lot of cities around the country do a gun back by program and they offer $100 gift card to Walmart like for instants this is what Chicago did And they were only able to get 26 Guns Off their streets that percent is almost 0 for Chicago I want to be able to give back each individual that surrenders a firearm $500 cash I understand that’s a lot of money and some of these guns don’t even cost $500 but if you want big results you have to go big A funeral cost a lot more than $500 it also cost a lot more than $500 for Medicaid and insurance companies to keep up The health care for a person  with a gun Injury until they’re healed. We all know that the holidays are approaching the holiday season is usually the time of year when the crime is at  highest my goal is to get as many guns as we can off the streets before the holiday season. This gun violence it’s so serious right now to the point that none of us are even safe to even take our trash outside because bullets are just flying all throughout the city It’s happening everywhere even neighborhoods that we thought were safe we also owe it to our police to make their job a little safer at the end of the day when you hear bullets flying can you see a body laying on the ground the first thing you do is pick up the phone and call 911 I know it’s the Police job to serve and protect us but as a community We all need to stand together and keep each other safe
if we could come together and raise $40,000 overnight for a dog that has been hit by car and needs surgery in the morning why can’t we raise this type of money to save our community and to save a life from the bottom of my heart I am begging and pleading please help me save some life’s
