Addison's Bone Marrow Transplant

Meet 5-year-old Addison who is in urgent need of a Bone Marrow transplant. Despite hopes that her sister Crimson would be a match, we have just received the devastating news that she is not

As we wait for results from the global donors list, the ongoing costs to Addison's family are growing. As it stands Addison body does not produce enough blood cells. She does not produce enough platelets, so can bleed out if she has a cut and no neutrophils, so no production against virus, bacteria and fungus. As Addison embarks on her Aplastic Anaemia/BMT journey this will leave only one working parent at home with her little sister Crimson and another at the hospital with Addison.

This will be a long journey, should everything go well of 2 years and possibly more.

We are also reaching out to friends and family members to consider being tested and joining the register. Donors must be between the ages of 18 and 35
