Donation protected
You are invited to vicariously run a trail ultra-marathon with my husband and me. I grew up hiking in Mohican State Park in a small farming community and have always wanted to run this annual ultra-marathon. This year it was cancelled because of COVID, but we want to race these miles anyway to raise funds and awareness for the nonprofit organization Color of Change , which is the nation’s largest online racial justice organization. You are invited to donate a marathon ($26) an ultramarathon ($50) or any amount that you want to this cause.
Color of Change helps people respond effectively to injustice in the world around us. They move decision-makers in corporations and government to create a more human and less hostile world for Black people in America.
By designing strategies powerful enough to fight racism and injustice—in politics and culture, in the work place and the economy, in criminal justice and community life, and wherever they exist—this organization is changing both the written and unwritten rules of society. They mobilize our members to end practices and systems that unfairly hold Black people back, and champion solutions that move us all forward.
This organization is a powerful agent of change. I hope you will consider donating to this important cause.
