Guro Eleanor Academia Medical Fund

On May 28th, Guro Eleanor Academia, endearingly known to many as Guro El, El, or the Black Swan, received a shocking diagnosis.  What was originally thought to be a hematoma in her leg due to impact training was discovered to be a cancerous, malignant tumor, specifically a rare micro-fibrosarcoma. 

Thankfully, it was discovered before it could spread to other areas of her body, however she needs to begin treatment immediately.  This campaign is to help her as well as Sifu Cass Magda with the medical bills that they will inevitably face on their tough road ahead to recovery.  As students of Guro Eleanor and Sifu Cass, we hope to help raise at least $10,000 in the next 60 days.  

Guro El has touched an innumerable number of people around the world.  From her musical career playing with the most talented artists, to her MI Women's Self Defense program which has literally saved lives, to her endless drive and passion for anything she is involved, she has inspired us all to reach for great heights.  Now it is up to us to show our support in these trying times.
