Eagle Project - Packing Meals for Ukraine
Tax deductible
My name is Sara Gadad, and I am a Life Scout from Troop 126G. I joined Scouts BSA as soon as it opened up to girls, and I am a founding member of my troop. I have been looking forward to my Eagle Project for years, and I wanted to use my project to help people in need.
As a result of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, millions of Ukrainians are being displaced. Ukrainians have limited access to necessities because facilities have been damaged and transportation disrupted. Through my Eagle Project, I plan to help mitigate food insecurity by funding and packing 16,000 meals for Ukraine.
I need your support to fund the ingredients for all these meals. Your donation will go to Kids Against Hunger, an organization that is packing and shipping food to Ukraine during this time. Please share this page so we can pack 16,000 meals for Ukraine!
I am also looking for volunteers to help pack the meals at the Kids Against Hunger warehouse in Pleasanton! Please sign up below if you are interested.
We have a Dos Coyotes (3191 Crow Canyon Pl, San Ramon CA) dine-in fundraiser from August 8-14th! Please show the cashier this flyer when placing your order.
I will also be holding a bake sale outside Safeway (11050 Bollinger Canyon Rd,
San Ramon CA) on August 13th, from 10 AM to 2 PM. We will be selling cookies, brownies, and vegan rice crispies!
