Eagle Scout Project: Building Picnic Tables

Hi, my name is Gavin Gapinski. I'm a Life Scout in BSA Troop 25 in Orange Park, FL. For my Eagle Scout Project, I'm building and waterproofing three picnic tables at Rob Bradley Conservation Park at Nelson Point. Each 6-foot picnic table will cost about $200. Waterproofing sealant and supplies will cost about $100.

Rob Bradley Conservation Park at Nelson Point is a newly opened town park on the Doctors Lake waterfront. Since the park is new, there are no facilities or places to sit and enjoy activities such as picnicking. The new picnic tables will provide a comfortable place for people to relax and soak in the beautiful scenery.
