Eagle Scout Project - Center For Domestic Peace

Hi, my name is Monty Tipton. I’m a Scout from Troop One, fundraising for my Eagle Scout project! Accompanied by a team of Troop 1 scouts, we will hand-make 25 comfort hampers & blankets benefiting the battered women's shelter. The Comfort hampers will include feminine products, personal hygiene tools & other daily essentials. The number of abused women in America daily is staggering; these women have to leave their homes with little to nothing. The unit price of a basket & blanket is about $65, but we will need tools, food and other supplies for the project.
