Eagle Scout Project - Seattle Children's LEGO Sets

Donation protected
Hello there!

For my Eagle project I am making a custom LEGO set for the patients at the hospital, to be used both as a tool to help kids understand and learn about the hospital, as well as a distraction from medical procedures that may be scary. This project combines my love for LEGOs with helping give back to the Seattle Children's Hospital, who helped treat my sister’s cancer 5 years ago.  Originally we had planned for $3,000 for the LEGO bricks and once all has been ordered, we have increased our goal slightly to accommodate for the higher cost of pieces and extra materials needed.  Anything above and beyond our kit expenses of $3200 will go straight back into the project and buy more Lego sets and Duplo sets for the patients at the hospital.

My LEGO set is based off of a patient's room, including a bed, whiteboard, and computer desk. The set will also include 2 figures, one of a doctor and one of a patient. The set will have special printed pieces customized for the hospital and unique to this set.

My goal for the project is to produce 100 sets. All extra money will go to producing additional sets and buying the larger DUPLO kits for the younger patients. Any donation is appreciated to help make this project happen. Thank you for your support and generosity!

Sincerely,

Jack Haines
