Eagle Scout Project - Animal Shelter Beds

Hello! My name is Aiden Carter and I am a Life Scout with Troop 3 in Columbia, SC. I have started work on my Eagle Scout project and I’m asking for your help to raise funds to purchase the materials required.

For my project, I plan to make PVC-framed beds for the cats and dogs at the Kershaw County Humane Society. My goal is to make 20 dog and 20 cat beds. The funds I raise will be used to purchase the material required to construct the beds

1. 700 ft of PVC pipe
2. 160 3-way PVC corner pieces
3. 160 PVC end caps
4. Self-tapping screws
5. Canvas bedding material (approximately 40 yards)
6. PVC pipe cutting tools
7. Safety equipment (glasses, gloves, etc.)

Any remaining funds or funds raised above my goal will be donated to the beneficiary of my project, the Kershaw County Humane Society. Scouting has been an important part of my life for over eight years and I’m excited to finally earn the opportunity to obtain the rank of Eagle Scout.
