Eagle Scout Project: SHS Crew Memorial Wall

Hi, my name is Jimmy Hess. I am a Life Scout in BSA Troop 114 Shrewsbury, and I am raising funds to support my Eagle Scout Project. My proposal is to build a display wall in the boathouse at Donahue Rowing Center which will be used to exhibit memorabilia from the long and storied history of SHS crew. This project is important to me because over the past couple years, crew has become an integral part of my life. Everyday I’m at the boathouse working out, helping others and generally interacting with its community. This project fuses my two favorite and largest extracurriculars, Scouting and Crew. These communities have given me so much and this project allows me a chance to give back to the one while growing through the other.
