Eagle Scout Project (Temple Kol Emeth)

Hello, my name is Dylan Ryley and I am a Boy Scout in Troop 565. For my Eagle Scout project, I have decided to give back to my temple (Temple Kol Emeth) as it has made me the person I am today. I went to preschool and Hebrew School there. We will be doing a renovation on the Doc Lebow Center deck. The Doc Lebow Center is a place where teens congregate, it is also used for gatherings, and as a shelter for people experiencing homelessness during the holidays. For this project, a team that I lead will be completely demolishing and renovating the currently unusable deck, which was used frequently, but due to the holes and rotting wood is no longer in use. These funds will be used to supply the wood, tools, and other materials needed for this massive project. Every donation, no matter the size, brings our temple and its members one step closer to having a safe space to congregate with one another. Thank you for your generosity and kindness.
