Eagle Scout Project to Support Wolf Sanctuary
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Alice and I'm fundraising for my Eagle Scout Project. I am currently a Life Scout in Radnor Troop 284 and I will be the third female eagle scout from my troop. For my Eagle project, I am building a cattle shed at The Wolf Sanctuary of PA in Liditz, Pennsylvania. The purpose of this shelter is to allow the wolf sanctuary to accept donations of retired cows from local farmers, and provide them with a comfortable home to live out the rest of their lives. When the cows pass away they will provide the wolves with many meals.
This project will not only support the wolves at the sanctuary, but it will help offset the cost of meat that the sanctuary needs to obtain. Farmers will also benefit because they will be relieved of the expense of caring for cows that can no longer produce milk.
This project will also help create positive relationships between farmers and wolf conservation advocates. Any time farmers and wolf conservationists can work together will further help create trust and communication that might make its way out west where wolf conservationists and farmers are in constant conflict.
I would appreciate any support you can give to help me gather materials and funds to complete my project. Any surplus funds will go directly to the wolf sanctuary.
