Eagle Scout Project: World Map Mural
Donation protected
My name is Anthony L. Rivello and I'm a Life Scout in Troop 777 in Manhattan.
I'm currently working on my Eagle Scout community service project and I could use your help.
My project is a painted, large-scale mural. It will be a colorful, self-designed world map featuring every U.N. recognized country, as well as images of some of the world's most awe-inspiring and culturally significant landmarks.
My purpose for this map-mural is to create an opportunity for inclusion and connectivity. America is home for people from across the world, and I believe the young people of my community would benefit from this project. I've partnered with St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Academy in my home neighborhood in Queens to be the beneficiary of my project.
My goals are that kids, now and in the future, will be able to see where their family came from, understand that their heritage is represented, and feel connected to the world and each other.
The project will be carried out by volunteers during the week of August 17, 2020. By donating here, I will be able to purchase the necessary supplies and materials.
My estimated cost for my Eagle Project is $1500.
This is where you guys come in.
Whatever you can contribute is greatly appreciated, no matter how large or small. If I'm fortunate enough to exceed my goal, the remaining funds will be donated to St. Stanislaus Kostka to support their academics including geography and history.
Once again thank you so much for supporting me in my project which will benefit the community for years to come.
