Eagle Scout SPCA shed fundraising project

Hi my name is Chase Thompson I am in scout troop 74. I have been in scouting since 2011. I started scouting as a Tiger Cub and worked my way up through the ranks. I am finally working on my Eagle Scout project. An Eagle Scout project is the last requirement to earn your Eagle rank and is a service project that benefits the community. It gives the scout an opportunity to practice leadership by leading a team. This project will also help teach us how to work together and learn lessons and skills and how to use and construct a small building project.

For this Eagle Scout project I am going to be building a shed for the SPCALA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals). The storage shed is going to be a 5'x8' lean to shed and is going to be used for donated toys and food. This is one of the requests that they needed most. Over the past 6 months the materials and supplies that are needed to build the shed have drastically increased by more than double in price. My fundraising goal is $3,000. This will help cover all of the materials to build the shed. Which includes wood, hardware, paint and ect. All the proceeds will go to the SPCALA.
