Eagles Rising—Rebuild FHS Athletics & Activities

The past year has been a challenging one for everyone. Varsity sports and activities are no exception. Corona put a huge strain on all Florence Eagle sports and Activities.

• *Eagle Football-- fundraisers canceled/downsized, ticket sales limited to 25% capacity
• *FHS Big Red Band-- Fundraisers canceled/ 25% capacity at football games meant low sales at the band's concession stand
• *FHS Spirit Teams-- No roadblocks or public donation buckets allowed
• *FHS Varsity Dance and Varsity Cheer-- Homecoming Dance Fundraiser Canceled, minicamps canceled, low capacity at games reduced spirit item and shirt sales
• FHS Soccer and Lady Eagles Soccer--Operated at 25% capacity
• FHS Eagle and Lady Eagle Basketball-- Operated at 25% capacity, low concession stand sales
• FHS Baseball and Softball-- ENTIRE 19-20 season canceled leading to no ticket revenue and no concession sales. Reduced capacity for 20-21 Season.
• FHS Volleyball-- Operated at 25% capacity
• FHS Prom Committee--Prom 2021 cost to the committee was more than twice the normal budget due to Corona regulations.
• Student Clubs and Organizations--Most groups were not able to organize during the 20-21 school year due to Corona regulations. Therefore, they have no funds to restart. 

So, we are asking our community, our alums, and our fans to support our campaign to rebuild these sports and activities for our students. Our Homecoming game will be held October 1 and the theme is "EAGLES RISING. " We are planning to devote the theme to helping our Eagles rise with community events, class challenges, and online fundraisers. Any donation will be much appreciated and used to benefit ALL of our groups. Go Eagles!
