Help Heather
Thank you for visiting.
At the end of 2019 Heather noticed a swelling in her arm, after a few doctors visits, tests were carried out and they discovered she had Inflammatory Breast Cancer. No lumps, no other symptoms, just swelling. It's an aggressive cancer so chemo started pretty quickly, followed by a mastectomy. She fought a brave fight, kept positive, started her My Journey Facebook Page to raise awareness and share her story and, much to everyone's relief and delight, she was cleared of cancer by the summer of 2020.
However, when Heather started experiencing bad headaches a few months later, she went back to the doctors, and had to insist on further tests, which is when they discovered the cancer had gone to her brain and there was little they could do to help her except offer some palliative care.
Treatment has now stopped and Heather's doctors say she only has a few months left to live.
She will be leaving her husband, Dan, whom she married in 2018, and two young sons, Lewis and Marcus.
On behalf of Heather's family, we would like to raise money to help her in her final few months of life, and to help her boys after she's gone. If you are able to help, we would be very grateful.
THANK YOU!!
