Eamonn Grant's Memorial and Children's Education Fund

Hi, my name is Eileen and I am Eamonn's Godmother.
On October 30th, just three weeks after Eamonn and Caroline welcomed the birth of their second baby girl, Eamonn was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. The diagnosis was sudden and earth shattering. Eamonn was immediately admitted to the hospital to stabilize and prepare for treatment. He will begin chemotherapy at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in NYC on Sunday.
While there are still many unknowns about Eamonn's treatment plan, we know many rounds of chemotherapy and other treatments lie ahead. We come together as friends and family to ask for your support during this incredibly difficult time.
Contributions will go toward the many costs that come with this diagnosis, such as medical and caregiving bills, travel expenses for treatment, and living expenses while Eamonn is unable to work.
Eamonn is a sweet and supportive young man that is a source of strength for the people he loves. Please join us in our efforts to make this journey a tiny bit easier, and to ensure that Eamonn and Caroline can focus on what is truly important: his recovery and their beautiful family.
A little about the Grants:
Eamonn was born and raised in Ardsley, NY. He graduated from Ardsley High School. After high school he attended and graduated from Fairfield University. He spent many summers and holidays visiting Donegal, Ireland, and the birth place of his parents Eamonn and Mary. He has a younger brother Brendan.
On a trip to NYC, Eamonn met the love of his life the beautiful Caroline Spader. Eamonn and Caroline married on October 10, 2020. They had their first baby Mary on February 20, 2022 and their second child Ellie on October 8, 2023. A couple of months ago they purchased a family home that they worked hard to fix up and were to move in the weekend of October 28th when Eamonn felt too unwell to do so and this prompted a visit to the doctor.
Please consider a donation to Eamonn and his family no matter how small. Everything helps. If you are unable to make a donation, please offer prayers for Eamonn's full recovery and share this page.
With my love and thanks on behalf of the Grants.
