Eamonn's Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Thank you for taking the time to visit our page.
We sadly lost our dad on Thursday 16th March 2023 after a very short and unexpected battle with cancer. Everyone and anyone who came in contact with Eamonn will know what a massive personality he was, and how special he made people feel. He had such a generous heart and was always the first to buy a round of drinks. He loved nothing more than to socialise, tell his very best jokes and anecdotes and made everyone laugh.
To help us to celebrate and remember this amazing man, we are raising money and accepting donations which will be split equally in three ways:
1. Donations made to two charities; Macmillan for the amazing practical support they gave to our whole family earlier on in his diagnosis, and Queenscourt Hospice in Southport for the wonderful care the palliative nursing team provided to Eamonn at the end stages of his life. Both of these charities made a very dark time that little bit easier for us.
2. Financial help to cover the cost of his funeral which will help us give Eamonn the best send-off celebration.
3. Funds towards a memorial bench/ plaque made in Birkdale village so everyone can have somewhere to go and remember Eamonn in a place that he loved.
Please use the 'Words of Support' section to share any of your favourite jokes and stories which dad told you, and we will use these to form a collection of anecdotes to look back at.
Thank you so much in advance for your support, and we hope to see you very soon to celebrate our wonderful dad.
