Ear Savers for Masks 3D Printing Fund
Donation protected
My name is Carob Bradlyn. I live in Northern California. We have been in quarantine for a long time, since March. My family is taking the health and safety rules given by the experts very seriously.
My husband and I decided to spend some of our stimulus money and buy a 3D printer for a couple reasons.
1) Our 14 year old son needed some home school STEM Education.
2) I thought of printing something for masks to help out with the Covid 19 Crisis.
I did not create this design, it was given to me from a friend when I asked around for 3D files to print that would hep with masks for the essential workers. The Ear Savers are an open source design.
We started printing them and giving them to nurses, doctors and grocery store workers etc.
Then our Governor make a state wide mask mandate on June 18th. Since then the Ear Savers have taken off like crazy. We have two 3D printers going to keep up. I have been mailing them all over the country. People are so grateful for them especially if they have to work long hours with masks on.
I don't charge anyone and would like to keep it that way. I had one person insist I take a donation to help out with the supplies needed for printing. I guess it's time to have an option for people who would like to donate to this project. This is not a requirement and I will still give them away for free to anyone who needs them.
