Earl Whitehurst and his family.

Earl Whitehurst's journey in Richmond, VA started in 2019 when he joined DPR's RVA team as an EHS manager. Earl is known for his positive energy, lighting up whatever room he enters. Earl is a Spanish translator for the DPR team and he is an integral part of driving a positive safety culture, not only at the RVA project, but throughout Richmond.

In October 2022, Earl was diagnosed with cancer and has been fighting with all he has ever since. Unfortunately, today, Earl continues to fight but the disease is taking it's toll on him. He is resting comfortably, but doctors have stopped his treatment for cancer and recommended that Earl be moved to hospice care.

Earl and his family need our help to make sure he can rest comfortably. Money will go toward outstanding bills, medical care, and anything else that can take the burden off of Earl’s mind and make sure his family is taken care of in these times of uncertainty.
