As .many of you may know, our own Jody Peters Larson has been in the care of the University of Minnesota Hospital staff due to a Ruptured Brain Aneurysm.
She was transported by helicopter life-flight and received life saving surgery due to the quick response of her sister Mary and Grand Rapids EMS. From late February to mid March she spent three weeks in ICU then transferred to the Neurosurgery Intermediate Care Unit. Her hospital care from (Neurosurgeon, Physician, Nurses, Therapists, Support Staff) has be excellent. She will be transferred to Duluth where she will be continuing rehabilitation treatment for stroke recovery close to home. It’s been a long haul. We expect a near full recovery. Through it all her husband Scott and daughter Amanda have been her “Rock” with the support of family and friends. Jody has not been alone. We are all so grateful for all the love and good wishes expressed on Jody’s Caring Bridge, where you can read and follow Amanda’s journal of her story. As you might expect their is a financial
aspect to all of this, that’s reality.
Jody is a well-loved Earth Angel of our family, friends, and community. She has touched all of our lives with her generosity and spirited personality. If you are able to help financially as well as with your prayers and good vibes we are thankful for it.
