Closed-Earthquake Emergency for Nihal's family

Our family friends, Nihal Ciplak and Muzaffer Deveci, owners of the Turkish Delight restaurant in Halifax Nova Scotia, lost their sister, sister-in-law, and niece during the tragic earthquake in Turkey. 

Their home and belongings in Hatay were deshomes and belongings in Hatay were destroyed and they have other family members who are still fighting for their lives in the hospital. It is impossible to send things at this time and they need monetary support urgently.

This fundraiser is to support the Ciplak family after the terrible earthquakes in Turkey. This is being organized by Bengisu Gonul and her sister Ece Gonul. We will use the funds to pay for shelter, supplies, food, water, and clothes for Ciplak family.

Additionally, they lost two older brothers, one in a hit-and-run and the other from a heart attack, they also lost their niece to cancer last year. Their pain is so deep that we want to help the rest of the family who survived the earthquake to get back on their feet and start rebuilding their lives again.

We know money can be tight for most of us but every little bit counts. Thank you for helping our loved ones.
