Earthquake & Flood in Ishikawa, Japan

Hi everyone, my name is Haruna.

I am from Osaka Japan, but I’m fundraising for my family in Wajima city in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. They have been suffering from a huge damages due to earthquake in January, and floods in September.

Wajima has a beautiful nature, kind people and famous for fresh sea food and the beautiful nature is one of the world heritage.

There was an huge earthquake on January 1st during people were celebrating New Year’s Day. After that, they have been working hard to rebuild their homes, farms and businesses in the area which they have kept hundreds of years. However, they had another natural disaster of rainfall and floods. All their hard work has been ruined in a day, AGAIN. They are very disappointed and feeling hopeless.

I want to help with something I can do from Vancouver Canada, where I live. So I decided to be a fundraiser for people in the area and bring their tradition, culture, and lives back.

I will send the funds to my family and the community and I hope it will help them rebuild their lives ❤️
