Earthquake Relief for Eastern Turkey

We are seeking donations on behalf of siblings Esin and Engin Pektas. Esin is an architect/engineer now living in New York City; Engin is a bank manager in Tarsus, Turkey. The family roots are in Malatya, one of ten Anatolian cities devastated by the earthquake.

Engin and Esin are devoting their time to organizing relief shipments from Mersin to the East on a daily basis. These include tents for temporary shelter, heaters, blankets, clothing, food, water, and other necessities. Containers and portable toilets and kitchens are also in demand.

Donations will go directly via the Pektas family to victims of the disaster in the remote Eastern regions of Turkey (Malatya, Hatay, Diyarbakir).
