Easing Nancy Carol Rivera's End-of-Life Expenses
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,
It is with deep sorrow and love that we share the story of Nancy Carol Rivera, a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who has been an incredible fighter for the past 26 years. Carol’s journey with cancer began in 1998, when she was first diagnosed with breast cancer. Through sheer strength and determination, she bravely fought and overcame it three times. But despite her relentless spirit, the cancer returned—and in recent years, it has spread.
In 2003, Carol was diagnosed with spine cancer. In 2012, she faced metastatic cancer, enduring rounds of chemotherapy and radiation that helped stop the spread and gave her precious years with her family. But after all these years of fighting, Carol’s condition has taken a turn, and she is now in her final days, surrounded by her loving family.
Carol has always been a warrior, never backing down from a challenge, and her love for life has never wavered. She is the proud mother of Roxana, Gabriel, and her late son Adrian. She was also a beloved grandmother to Cherish, Phillip, Dominick, Vincent, Jazzmine, Levi, her late grandson Andres and her great-grandson Emiliano. Carol loved her family more than anything, and her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandson.
Carol’s life was full of simple pleasures—she loved to crochet beautiful blankets, make earrings, and bake cookies that filled the house with warmth. She enjoyed trips to the casino, loved watching the Dallas Cowboys, and had a special place in her heart for flowers, crosses, and anything that reminded her of her deep faith in God. A patient and level-headed woman, Carol was always happy, always ready to laugh, and always there for those who needed her, well maybe except her daughter's fast driving. Whether it was playing Uno with her family, going on road trips, camping, fishing, or dancing, Carol embraced life with joy.
She was an incredibly caring, patient, and giving person, a true people person who made everyone feel welcome and loved. Carol was close to her Mom Zelmira Rivera, Dad Perry Rivera, and her late brother Jude Rivera, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and other loved ones. Her life was rich with relationships, love, and memories, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
At this time, we are asking for your help to ease the financial burden for Carol’s family. The funds raised will be used to cover medical expenses, end-of-life care, and funeral costs, allowing her family to focus on cherishing these final moments with her in peace and comfort.
Any donation, no matter how small, will be a great blessing. If you are unable to contribute financially, please keep Carol and her family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Thank you for your love, support, and kindness as we help Carol through her final journey. Your generosity means the world to her family.
With heartfelt gratitude,
The Rivera Family
