Easing Chris Preston's Burden After Loss

On Wednesday, October 23rd Donna Preston passed away at the age of 74, it was her birthday. Donna was a kind, nurturing, and caring soul that above all cherished her son Chris. Donna instilled some of her greatest traits in her son, most notably a positive outlook on life, an outstanding work ethic, and a dedication to serving others. When Donna passed it hit many of us hard, but nobody experienced pain the way Chris has and continues to.

Chris has always been a loving son that was more than willing to sacrifice for his mother. Over the past few years Chris took on responsibilities that extended his mother’s life and added to her comfort. Chris has given up time, money, energy, and so much more to make his mother’s time on earth happy and comfortable, a noble undertaking. I daresay, to have a son like Chris must have been an incredible blessing.

Funeral expenses, loss of income(s), a lack of life insurance, reduced hours at work, and many other factors have put Chris in a temporary tight spot as it relates to finances. Chris is a hard worker and will get through these difficult times one way or another, however if we can help ease this struggle while he grapples with his new reality that would be incredible.

We should note that Donna had a private service shortly after she passed. For those of us who want to honor Donna’s memory and show support for Chris, donating to this GoFundMe would be a magnificent gesture.
