Easing Kevin's Burden After Cathy's Loss

As many have heard, our mother, Cathy Cozzens-Potter, passed away on October 9th after battling cancer. She was so full of life and helped any friend in need. Unfortunately, there are still leftover bills and the funeral costs since she did not have life insurance. These expenses have now fallen to our stepfather, Kevin, to take care of out of pocket.

Anyone that knows Kevin knows he is an amazing man. He was a saint all through their 14-year marriage and her constant battle with the disease that ultimately took their time from them. Kevin is a giver and helps anyone he can. He, however, is not a taker and will not ask for help even if he needs it. This is where I come in.

He is not aware of this, and we would like it to stay that way until we hand him the funds. We are looking to take at least a little load off his shoulders after losing the love of his life. For bills, the funeral, or extra expenses he may have accrued due to our mother’s death.

If you can help out, anything would make a huge difference for him and help him get through the hardest days of his life this far.
