Easing Laci and Tanner's Burden After Lonnie's Loss
Donation protected
Hello. As many of you already know, we lost our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend Lonnie E. Cox on Sept 12, 2024.
Laci (and Tanner) didn't hesitate to take her dad in when his health started to decline and have been his everything since (really since she was born). He was so happy to be able to spend that time together with them and other family members nearby, of course, but Laci was always the apple of his eye.
Most of us know that Lonnie was the type of man who would give someone in need the shirt off his back, even if he didn't know or like you. He always had a tendency to just show up when you needed him most, whether you asked or not; he was just there. It was a gift he had, and I'm so grateful that I was blessed to have had him in my life all these years.
Laci is much like Lonnie in the fact that she's stubborn and fiercely independent, so much so that she rarely asks for help, even when needed, which is what prompted me to do so on her behalf. This won't make the heartache any less, but easing the costs does lessen the stress. All funds raised will go directly to Laci and Tanner to help cover cremation expenses and some of the costs associated with probate if we can reach that goal. I'm hopeful that we can all come together now and help Lonnie's beloved daughter and son-in-law. Small or large, it all adds up. I know it to be a fact that Lonnie wouldn't want Laci stressing over money, so please, let's try to make this happen for her so she can focus on healing.
