Easing Philip’s Burden After Sandra’s Passing
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
My name is Paige and I'm raising funds for our dearest Sandra's only son, Philip Albert Marsili.
Sandra Marie Marsili (neé Greco) passed away on July 26, 2024, at the age of 66. After a hard-fought 19-month battle against Stage IV lung cancer, Sandra left this earth, leaving her family and friends in shock and despair. Please read more about her beautiful life in her obituary, linked here .
As Philip and his family continue to work through their grief, there are many costly logistics to manage. These costs can be burdensome, both emotionally and financially. I'm starting this fundraiser in the hopes that we, those who love Sandra and Philip, can come together to ease some of that burden. In times of loss, financial hardship can compound what already feels like an insurmountable challenge.
Almost exactly one year ago, Philip lost his father. This horrible loss also came with a financial burden that Philip and Sandra were just starting to recover from. This rapid succession of loss makes Sandra’s death all the more difficult. Over the last 19 months, Philip has been an incredible source of strength to Sandra, his family, and his loved ones. I have bore witness to his courage and tenacity in the face of grief and strife, always prioritizing his mother’s wellbeing over his own, and always moving forward to do what was needed to support and care for her.
This money would help Philip pay for:
- The cremation, burial, and memorial service
- Legal fees to settle Sandra’s estate
- Outstanding medical debt for multiple hospitalizations, procedures, tests and treatments
- Continued rent for Sandra’s apartment while he sorts and packs her belongings
- Moving and storage fees to handle both Sandra and his father’s belongings
Thank you for offering your support to Philip at this time. I understand this is a financially trying time for many, so simply sharing this fundraiser would be immensely appreciated.
Thank you. We hold Sandra and Philip in our hearts, today and forever.
