Easing the Burden: Alice's Funeral Fund

Alice was life flighted to Billings clinic on July 26th. She had gotten covid, and was doing really well and on coumadin when she developed a blood clot in her illiac artery. She lost feeling from her navel to her feet as there was no blood supply going to her legs. She was taken into surgery to remove the blood clot. Unfortunately, because the surgery wasn't done for almost 10 hours after the initial 911 call, her kidneys weren't given enough blood supply and they shut down. This go-fund me has been set up because she lost her life insurance policy when it wasn't transferred to the new employer insurance. She has been my caretaker sice I was in a coma for 3 months due to h1n1 influenza. Mom was my advocate and my best friend. It's been hard enough losing mom without the added stress of the financial burden of not being able to pay for the funeral. Being on disability, it is impossible to pay her funeral costs of almost $10 thousand dollars for a basic funeral. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
