It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved, Ciel Debra Schaeffer Gordon, who tragically passed away on February 2nd, 2025, at the age of 72. Ciel’s sudden death, caused by a stroke, has left a profound emptiness in the lives of all who knew her. A dedicated mother, sister, aunt, and friend, Ciel’s warmth and kindness touched the lives of many.

During the final days of her life, Ciel was surrounded by loved ones in the ICU, where she fought valiantly. Now, as we mourn her loss, we are also faced with the financial burdens that come with this unexpected tragedy. We are raising funds to cover her memorial service, the medical costs incurred during her time in the hospital, and to support her children, Jared and Lian, as they navigate this difficult period.

Jared, who had been living with Ciel as her primary caretaker, is now facing the challenge of relocating. The 55+ community Ciel lived in is not a place he can remain, and he will need financial assistance to cover moving costs, temporary living expenses, and settling into a new environment.
