Easing the Burden for the Reid Family

Dear Friends, Family, & Kind Strangers,

With heavy hearts, we are reaching out to ask for support for the Reid family as they navigate an unimaginable tragedy. They were joyfully preparing to welcome their baby boy Rixton Ridge Reid into the world when at their appointment (38 weeks pregnant) they heard the words no parent should ever have to hear…there was no heart beat. In that very moment their world was shattered. They are now facing the unimaginable pain of saying goodbye far too soon. No words can truly capture the depth of their grief.

What was supposed to be a time of love and celebration has become one of heartbreak and mourning. No parent should ever have to plan a funeral for their child. The weight of this heartbreak is something no family should have to bear alone. As they process this loss, they are also facing unexpected financial burdens, including burial and memorial expenses, medical bills, and the impact of time away from work to heal physically and emotionally.

We are asking for donations for funeral expenses to help ease some of these burdens so they can focus on grieving and being there for one another. Any amount, no matter how small, will make a difference in giving them the space to heal without added financial stress.
